Stopped by soldier and Café for breakfast recently. It was a great experience. The food was tasty, and the service is swift and friendly. I will go again.
Our go to breakfast at least once a week. Down to earth food, enough for lunch too, and great coffee. I love the Uncle Johns hash browns. Hubby loves the biscuits and gravy. The wait staff is lovely and attentive. We can get in and out in 30 minutes during the week. Hubby also loves the cinnamon rolls and takes one to go for the next morning. Go give them a visit!
Met a friend for coffee. You walk in and there's a bakery case with amazing looking cinnamon rolls and muffins. On this Tuesday AM at 9:00 there were seats aplenty. Quick, friendly service. As I looked at the menu I regretted having already had breakfast. Lots of great omelettes; the special was a jalapeño popper omelette! Loaded hash browns also on the menu. Owner/chef is from Southern California with Central Nebraska family roots, which show up on the menu, and in the ambiance of the place. Casual and relaxed, eclectic and tasteful. So I asked about the bakery items, and she described the cinnamon rolls and pecan sticky buns, which is what I ordered. Very delicious! Next time I'll go for breakfast.
Craving breakfast on a weekend morning, we went to Yelp to find a place. We called, placed our order, and then picked it up. The staff were friendly and everything was easy. I had the Left of Rancheros, which definitely hit the spot. The pork was incredibly flavorful and delicious. And all the various ingredients came together and worked tastily. The rolls and muffins are also delicious and not to be missed. We'll definitely be doing breakfast/brunch from here again.
Tried the Sojourn Cafe on a whim and fell in love with it. Great food paired with friendly wait staff and a small town cafe atmosphere made for a great experience! Definitely planning on going back when I find myself in the neighborhood again.
